Submit an Article
MoneyPages strives to include content developed and published by contributors from across Canada.
If you're interested in publishing your work with us, we would love to hear from you. As a writer you can become a regular contributor, an occasional contributor or you may choose to submit an article for one-time publication only.
MoneyPages welcomes submissions regardless of whether the contributor is a professional writer. We give preference to submissions from contributors who are knowledgeable in their particular field and who carry professional designations that lend credibility to their article.
We encourage you to contribute on any personal finance or lifestyle subject, from tackling debt, to saving for retirement, travel, health care and so on. Articles on specific investment recommendations or that contain an outlook for the markets and their performance will not be considered for publication.
The length of your article should be between 600 and 1500 words, depending on the type of article you're writing. Typically, contributed articles are 1,000 words or less. At this point we have no provisions to include images or video in article published on MoneyPages.
We do not pay for contributed articles pieces, but if chosen for our website we will energetically promote them, just like any other story that runs on our site. Your name and a link to your website will be published at the beginning of the article. A short bio will be published at the end of your article to provide further exposure. We do not allow promotional content within articles.
Self-promotion of yourself or your company lessens the chance that your article will be published by MoneyPages.
Contributors do not have to be a subscriber to MoneyPages and the SmartPlanner service in order to have their articles considered for publication.
Money Pages can help you build an impressive online portfolio of articles related to your area of expertise. We're passionate about social media, and will share your article with our audiences on Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms to provide you with greater exposure
The process is selective and all articles are subject to editing. Headlines and subheads are subject to change, content may be edited for style or substance and links may be added for context at the discretion of the MoneyPages staff.
We work to consistently select the best articles submitted for consideration. However, the selection of articles is highly discretionary, and can be impacted by many factors including the number of articles addressing similar themes and the timeliness of the topic.
We strive to maintain an open and constructive dialogue with our contributors and potential contributors. If an article is not selected for publication we encourage you to continue to submit additional articles.
Articles containing profanity, racism and other objectionable content will not be considered for publication.
Please note that article submissions are currently reviewed approximately once a week. Due to capacity limitations we are unable to respond to submissions that are not accepted for publication.
